How to create an interactive web page?

I am told to create and design an interactive website.However I do not even know where to start!I do not know how to create a simple webpage.Can somebody help me?

An interactive web page, means you want to allow visitors to your site to interact or respond to you in some way. If you don%26#039;t know much about html or building sites you could do a blog or a forum.

My favorite blogging software is wordpress http://www.wordpress.org but you have to be able to install scripts or pay someone to do it for you. The other option is Blogger http://www.blogger.com which is an online blog. Both of these would allow people to post comments on posts you make.

For forums, there several but one of the most popular free ones is http://www.phpbbserver.com/ if you want them to host it or you want to not have their ads you can install their free script http://www.phpbb.com/

If you want something more complex you are going to need to hire someone to build it for you.
