Web design and activation?

Hi,

I am trying to set up a free website with maybe a forum on it, can anyone help me with it, I don%26#039;t know how to setup pages eg. picture of a product and a hyperlink to select it, a hyperlink to view a topic and option to reply and web shopping basket. Also smilie boxes and editorial sections for posts.

Any help would be appriciated, it for a charity and I can%26#039;t afford to pay anyone. I want to set up a capable site that works right.

Please help, its for a good cause.

Do a search for PHPBB download. Its a discussion forum script/software that is easy to install and has all that stuff in it. You will need to have a database though, there are some other ones that don%26#039;t require a database. Just do a search for %26quot;free discussion forum software%26quot; and you should get some good results that work for you. You can also work with joomla http://www.joomla.com and install everything you want. There are even cool Joomla templates that are free. It is super easy to install as well.

You can simply use scripts to do those jobs on the site.. Most important is having a web hosting to host your site..

Other Replys:Use (*free webs*) because they are free (obviously =]) and its simple to use, yet you can add a lot of features

e.g pictures, games, songs etc..

Other Replys:I have a free hosted site with a company called Netfims. They have 1 advert at the top of each page to pay for usage via advertising,this woun%26#039;t affect your site. Most computers these days have a version of Microsoft Front Page installed. Have a look through the help file, as this is so easy to get to grips with, and has templates to make things simple for the web site beginner.
