Is it possible to connect SWF files to frames on a web page in macromedia?
I still use MX2004, but this works for me when I make nav bars in flash for a frames page.
In the properties rollout (default at the bottom of the screen in flash) you see the link box, listing the url for where the link is pointing.
Next to that you see a box that says %26#039;target%26#039;
In the target box, put the name of the frame you want the file to open in.
There is a drop down list there that says _blank, _parent, _self, _top
Just put the name of the frame you want the swf file to appear in in this box, with an underscore as the first character.
This is assuming you are using Flash for your SWF files. I used to use SWiSH, and it%26#039;s the same way. The end of the code snippet just needs to have the target statement applied just like the goto and play statement.
Good luck
