the %26quot;sub sites%26quot; as you call them are just made by having folders on the server

your index.html will go in the main folder. That will give you the www.stmarychurch.com site. Thats your main page

other html files, say about.html can go in the same folder, that will give you www.stmarychurch.com/about.html

A folder will with an index.html will give you www.stmarychurch.com/something/

A folder with another named html file would give you www.stmarychurch.com/something/about.htm...
