I have a webpage publishing program and want to design a webpage for a friend. Does it cost anything to put it on the net?

Not if you use a free web hosting site! There are many out there. Just type free web hosting in your search box. You may also find that you have webspace in your ISP account. Usually, they will provide at least 20 megs of space when you sign on.

NO you DONT have to buy a domain name! A domain name simply directs someone to a site that is already up and running! You CAN however buy a domain name once your site is up and you want to show the world! A domain name simply makes it easier for people to find it! When you upload your page to your webspace, it will have its own url. All a domain name does is direct itself to that url!

If you use one of the free Web hosting providers it should not cost anything. Otherwise, you%26#039;ll have to buy a domain name and select a Web hosting provider.

You will have to pay some amount of money, but if you want some free webhoster here are some:

But if you want a really cool domain name, it will cost.
