What techniques can I use to get a position as a blogger?

I am a 16 year old writer trying to make it in the blogging world. I know it is a competitive market and that I don%26#039;t have the proper education. I am not looking to make it pro, but just to extend my writing techniques and open doors for the future. I just want to write about topics that are happening such as piracy and DRM, street racing, music reviews, technology reviews, and anything else that I can find that needs to be heard by other people. Can anyone help me with some direction on where to start or any positions/connections they have? I am willing to do intern style work even if it involves me not getting paid, I truly just want to write. I am getting ready to purchase hosting, domain, and get a word press setup.
