Question on POP Email Accounts?

If I have 200MB of webspace in my hosting...

Does that affect the number of email accounts I can have using my domain?

My hosting package right now says i can create unlimited number of pop accounts.

But I%26#039;d like to know how many email accounts I can really have with the hosting I have of 200MB webspace.

I%26#039;m worried that if I create too many emails, my webspace capacity might not be able to support it all.

Ask your hosting provider if your 200 Mb limit includes mailbox space as very often it doesnt so you should have no worries

dont allow webpage email login, force the users/accounts to use outlook and set outlook to automatically download the messages from the server... this will allow you to run many email accounts without any load on your 200mb limit :)

your 200MB may just be for your webpages and not emails.

they often have other e-mail solutions eg fasthost.com or webhost.com that administer the email facilities.

your POP emails are autofowarded emails where as the actual emails you setup on the website are seperate, when you configure eg your yahoo email to be downloaded into your website email or vise versa then you have setup a pop email (using your pop server settings provided by yahoo or your host depending on which is going to be the master and receiving email address)

the question you need to ask them is %26quot;how many email addresses can i set up using using ...........@mydomain.com

if they say it is unlimited as well, then it will not affect your website no matter the size of the maiboxes.

No matter you have 200 MB space but you can also have 5-6 email accounts that can use the whole lump some of 200 MB if it consists of many emails with large size.
