I%26#039;m looking to start a simple website.
It would be a message forum in which only a certain number of people can sign up. After that limit is reached, no one else can sign up and all applications will be denied.
There should be a simple text box to type messages in. After clicking a %26quot;send%26quot; button, the entries will appear one beneath the other on the site. it does not need to have multiple pages or any sort of fancy colors, graphic, etc...
can someone help me code this?

ya this is a very simple application can be done easily with HTML and JSP.Create a database for User and one for Forum post.When the user fills the HTML page application form, press submit call the relevant JSP page count the result set using count(*).If it exceeds the limit u assigned regret the user else sign him up and sendRedirect to other HTML page where user can post forum.And when submit button press it add in the database.When we wish to view forum get the result using rs.next() and display one by one

You should just use a pre-made script such as phpBB which is customizable with skins, etc. After your forum has so many users you can disable further registration.

Other Replys:I recommend you talk to customer service and explain your design to them. They may have tools and prebuilt web pages you can get.
The page for your pages plan, the design set up features, you are suggesting %26quot;may%26quot; require a hosted web page.
Geocities.com has set ups for a web page. Yahoo may also have Forum tools at their hosting level. That I don%26#039;t know for sure.
