Need a good PHP/MySQL coder to fix forum/become moderator!!!!?

First thing. I can%26#039;t afford to pay anyone. Sorry but the forum is just starting out and there really is no cash. All the money has gone on the domain and hosting.

Now that I got that out of the way, I need someone good with PHP %26amp; MySQL. The forum is PhpBB and has had some minor mods applied. The main problem is that the PMs have stopped working. When you try to send a PM it doesn%26#039;t seem to be able to pickup the username. It just keeps asking for a valid username.

I%26#039;m also looking for someone with coding knowledge to become a moderator in the coding sections. This could be your chance to be part of something!!!

Please post in the forum if you%26#039;re interested. Don%26#039;t try sending the admin or moderators a PM obviously!!

Have you tried reinstalling PHPBB? That should fix the private messages. If you really did a lot of changes, and you don%26#039;t want to overwrite them accidentally, you can locally compare a fresh PHPBB file with your version.

A free %26quot;diff%26quot; software that works great for me is CSDiff (ComponentSoftware Diff). You can download that from www.downloads.com.

Having run a forum and been a moderator, my advice for the best way to get a free moderator is to continue doing the moderation until people start getting really into your forum, and then you can ask those that are totally into it to do it. They may do it for free for the recognition.

You%26#039;ll have much better luck asking on your own forum than on this one.
