Why hostgator has some problems setting up the DNS?

Well,

It happens for the second time. A month ago I ordered one domain and hosting from hostgator and after I waited several days for the DNS to update...nothing happened, and I tried to contact them to explaein the situation...then they fixed.

Now....the same thing I ordered one domain and hosting, but still now after 48 hours I havent DNS working. So I wrote them again if they can fix it.

It only me of some of you experience the same thing?

I would choose Yahoo for hosting, but for some reason Yahoo uses very old versions of PHP and I can%26#039;t use for some scripts.
