I bought a domain name/hosting at Godaddy.com but I can%26#039;t seem to figure out how to make a website other than by using the Website Tonight template program. Does godaddy.com let one write out their pages from just html? And I am beginning to think that maybe I am going to have to pay extra if I want more than a few pages.
I read something about using an FTP to upload .html files but as far as I can tell at godaddy.com you set up the FTP on your computer rather than just using one on the site.
I was at bravehost.com where I understood everything perfectly. I just wanted something a little cheaper but now I%26#039;m thinking maybe the extra bucks are worth it. The phrase %26quot;If it ain%26#039;t broke, don%26#039;t fix it.%26quot; seems appropriate to me right now.
If anyone could shed some light on this for me I%26#039;d really appreciate it.
GoDaddy.com just templates? And other related questions.....?
They will not code a site for you at all cause of liability from scratch unfortunately. However, the closets thing they would do that%26#039;s close, is they will build the WebSite Tonight for you instead of you building it.
Unfortunately if you want someone to code something like that for you, it won%26#039;t be cheap (usually). However, if you need some tips on building your own, I can definitely help you out there ;) feel free to contact me if need be.
